NO ROOM FOR WARLORDS: OLOHUNLALARO REAFFIRMS PARTY SUPREMACY AND THE INVIOLABLE AUTHORITY OF THE APC NATIONAL SECRETARY
The entire Team Naron under the leadership of Alh Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Olohunlalaro (Arowosadini of Offa Land)(Saraki Adiini of Raodotul Abror Worldwide), the vanguard of ideological discipline and loyalty to our Principal, Senator (Dr.) Ajibola Basiru, issues this unequivocal statement to the Nigerian populace and the political class.
We have watched with patriotic disgust the recent attempts by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, H.E Nyesom Wike, to bypass established political protocols and treat the All Progressives Congress (APC) as an extension of his personal warlord fiefdom.
Let it be clear to all, Senator Ajibola Basiru is not just a politician; he is the Custodian of the APC Institutional Integrity. As the National Secretary, he is the Landlord of the Party Secretariat. H.E Nyesom Wike, despite his ministerial portfolio, remains a political Guest in the house of the APC.
A guest, no matter how influential, does not dictate the rules of the house to the landlord. Dr. Ajibola Basiru mandate is to ensure that the party is governed by the Rule of Law, not the Rule of Might.
Olohunlalaro firmly supports our Party National Secretary right and duty to curb any non-party member who oversteps their bounds. We note specifically:
- The Myth of "No-Go Areas": Nigeria is a constitutional democracy. No state, including Rivers, is a no-go area for the National Secretary of the ruling party. Any attempt to burn the hands of the National Secretary is an attack on the President own party machinery.
- Locus Standi: Our records remain unchanged, H.E Nyesom Wike is not a registered member of the APC. He lacks the legal and moral locus standi to interfere in the internal administration of our party or to harass its leadership.
- Administrative Discipline: Dr. Ajibola Basiru SRJ was a veteran of the struggle against military dictatorship when others were still learning the ropes of opportunistic politics. He cannot be bullied, intimidated, or blackmailed by threats of political consequences.
Our Stand:
We demand that the FCT Minister accords the Office of the National Secretary the respect it deserves. If the Minister finds it impossible to operate within the bounds of administrative decency and party supremacy, the honorable path is to resign his appointment and focus on his partisan battles elsewhere.
The APC is a party of structures, not a collection of militias. We will not allow the warlord mentality to infect the Renewed Hope agenda. Dr. Ajibola Basiru is the gatekeeper, and the gates of the APC remain shut against indiscipline.
