Stop the Political Theatrics — Olohunlalaro Blasts Pro-Wike PDP Faction Over Laughable Ultimatum to Senator Ajibola Basiru

The entire Team Naron under the leadership of Alh Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Olohunlalaro has hit back at the recent 48-hour ultimatum issued by a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to FCT Minister H.E Nyesom Wike, describing the demand for an apology from APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, as a clumsy attempt at political intimidation.

In a strongly worded rebuttal, Olohunlalaro cautioned the pro-Wike elements to stop acting as political debt collectors and instead face the reality of their party’s dwindling relevance.

Olohunlalaro maintains that Senator Ajibola Basiru, a legal luminary and seasoned lawmaker, spoke within the bounds of political critique. We reject the notion that any individual, regardless of their status, is immune to public scrutiny. The Team notes that this ultimatum is a classic smoke and mirrors tactic designed to divert attention from the systemic failures and deep-seated divisions currently tearing the PDP apart at both the state and national levels.

We find it particularly amusing that a faction claiming to protect the dignity of a leader is doing so by threatening a son of Osun State who has consistently delivered excellence in public service.
Olohunlalaro believes that the politics of ego and entitlement has no place in the current Nigerian landscape.

The 48-hour ultimatum is not only laughable but dead on arrival. If the pro-Wike faction is looking for an apology, they should look toward their own mirrors for the years of political instability they have fostered. Senator (Dr.) Ajibola Basiru will not be intimidated by the empty threats of a factional group looking for relevance.
