OSUN PROGRESSIVE INDEPENDENT FORUM

OSUN PROGRESSIVES INDEPENDENT FORUM (OPIF), one of the strongest APC groups, condemned the action of the AMBO group in holding a meeting or program at Osogbo Federal Constituency Office or any of the APC Party Office. When ALUBARIKA Movement was launched by SRJ, who is the APC National Secretary, an internationally recognized figure, and an anointed APC candidate, as well as a strong candidate from Osogbo. Despite his qualifications, he chose to rent a hall at Olounkoro City Hall for his launch.

This act is uncalled for, and the AMBOs should desist from this behavior. After being denied access to the Tinubu Shettima Ileri-Oluwa Campaign Office Premises due to the same behavior of trying to elevate themselves above other aspirants, they should understand that politics is not a joke and should stop putting people in confusion.

Any serious aspirant should have established their own campaign office by now to demonstrate their commitment to their candidacy and the political process.

As members of OPIF and stakeholders in the APC party, we call on the APC National Chairman, Osun State APC Chairman, all Local Government Party Chairmen and Leaders to caution the AMBOs as they are a group, different from the party, and stop making their actions seem like favoritism. We urge them to wait for directives and guidelines from the party leadership before using any APC party premises.
