AFEP JOIN THE PROGRESSIVE FOLD
In a significant political development, Hon. Afolabi Abayomi popularly known as Afep, a former aspirant for the House of Assembly in Ifelodun, Osun State, under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has decided to officially joined the progressive fold. Afep, a young and promising political figure, made the announcement during a visit to the country home of Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Olohunlalaro (Arowosadini of Offa Land), a Chieftain within APC and influential Philanthropist within Osun State & beyond.
Accompanied by his associates, Afep visit was primarily to seek the counsel and blessings of Alhaji Akofe Olohunlalaro and to formally declare his defection to the progressive party, where he believes his political aspirations and passion for constituency development can be better realized.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Afolabi Abayomi Afep expressed his admiration for Olohunlalaro, citing his exemplary political strides and philanthropic gestures across the state as a major motivation for his decision. "Olohunlalaro leadership stride and commitment to the welfare of the people is a source of inspiration to me and many others," Afep said. "I am proud of the positive impact he has made, and I am here today to pledge my loyalty and support to him and the progressive party. I am confident that by joining forces, we can achieve more for the people of Ifelodun and Osun State as a whole."
In his response, Alh. Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Olohunlalaro (Arowosadini of Offa Land) warmly welcomed Afep and his team into the progressive fold. He commended Afep for his courage and foresight, assuring him of a place of honor and recognition within the party.
